Authentic Movement as Sacred Dance

All forms of spiritual practice hold in common two essential requirements: disciplined, goal-less attentiveness, and the intention to transcend rigid ego boundaries. Attention in sacred/spiritual dance is oriented towards direct bodily experience. Physical space is shared in kinaesthetic resonance with other(s) in movement and in stillness. These are also the requirements in the practice of Authentic Movement.

In this brief workshop we will invite you to listen to and follow deep internal cues that arrive from your body through deep non-judgmental attentiveness. We also wish and hope that this opens a glimpse into the possibility of experiencing self and other in resonant unitive consciousness.
