Minke de Vos and the EnChant Dance

EnChant Dance is an alchemical marriage of poetry. music, dance and Divine inspiration. This multidimensional art form is based on "Eurythmy", meaning "beautiful movement". Experience the ethereal gesture of sound sourced through the creative essence of the "Logos". Chants and poems become "visible" by expanding our voice into holistic movement. Colourful, flowing veils reveal the breathing spaces of the auric field. We become transparent instruments for celestial, soulful sound to move through us. Participants unite into a collective vessel for global healing.
Minke de Vos, Senior Universal Tao Instructor, teaches spiritual embodiment at Silent Ground Retreats. She has worked along-side of Taoist Master Mantak Chia for over 20 years and is a practitioner of Healing Sound and Medical Qigong.
She has eight years of Modern Dance training and a BFA from UBC, where she did choreography and dance videos on the Five Elements. She did a four year full time training in Eurythmy at an Anthroposophical School in Germany. Following her bliss, she founded EnChant Dance in 2005 and performed in the first Chant Fest. www.silentground.com
Songs of the Divine Mother
We are weaving the multifaceted, soulful qualities of the Ancient Mother into one dance which will include: Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion and Mercy, portrayed as carrying a scroll of truth, a vase of healing waters and a moon-like pearl. Mother Mary’s loving and comforting energies, which come to us in times of birth, change and death. Tara, who is said to be the Mother of all Buddhas, gives us the power of liberation. We will dance like 5 fingers on the hand of one Goddess. The Sacred Feminine embraces a vast spectrum of energy from the dark yin to the endless radiance of the earth, the moon and the universe.
